Ancient Egypt

Primary school resources to support the teaching of Ancient Egypt.

Ancient Egypt was a glorious civilization that lasted over 3,000 years. It was concentrated along the River Nile in what is now the modern country of Egypt.

Magnificent monuments such as pyramids, sphinxes, obelisks and temples were built. The kings or Pharaohs were seen as divine mediators between the gods and goddesses and people of Egypt.

Who were the Ancient Egyptians?

Why was the Rive Nile so important?

Who were The Pharoahs?

Why were the pyramids built?

What happened to the Ancient Egyptians after death?

This collection of artefacts makes a fabulous colourful and informative display.
